Description By using the principles studied in BIBL201, the student will learn how to set out Biblical doctrines clearly. He will also be able to distinguish them from the false teachings commonly found in other religions. The following topics will be covered: The Nature of God. Understand that there is one God, who is spirit, infinite, eternal, omnipotent. The Trinity: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. One God in 3 persons: their relationship to each other and their respective roles. Be able to explain why the doctrine of the Trinity is not a blasphemy. Examine and understand some divine attributes in the light of Scripture: God as Father, holiness, immanence (God near and with us), mercy, love (agape and parental), humility, truth (faithfulness to His promises).
