Counties

Counties is “Making Jesus Known??? in the UK through providing Evangelists, Training and Resources. We are a Christian charity working with various churches, making Jesus Christ known in the twenty-first century context. We sponsor over 30 evangelists and associates in various areas of the UK, working in a variety of community settings: from showgrounds to prisons, online chatrooms to schools and colleges, nursing homes, pubs and home visiting to name a few. We work with partner organisations to run one day and weekend conferences to support churches for outreach. We also provide educational resources for teaching about Christianity, through special RE lessons for schools to fit with existing syllabus requirements (Primary and Secondary), led by trained visitors from churches local to host schools. From autumn 2017 we will be launching a new scheme called Neighbourhood Chaplains, which trains volunteers from local churches to do pastoral visiting and mission.
