IMES' mandate is to is to bring about positive transformation in thinking and practice between Christians and Muslims in the Middle East and beyond. One way in which it seeks to do this is through its new Master of Religion in Middle East and North African Studies. The purpose of the MRel in MENA Studies is to foster the emergence of Evangelical leaders who are highly and holistically qualified to take on the challenges facing the global Church in an increasingly complex multi-religious and multi-cultural world.
