Gateway Training for Cross-Cultural Sevice

The Gateway missionary training program is designed to produce growth in every area in the life of the missionary candidate needing knowledge, skill and character development. This is done through the use of a variety of training methods to broaden the learning experience and intentionally address key concerns and struggles which a missionary faces on the missions field. Gateway is committed to addressing the crucial training needs of missionaries in the 21st century. As a training community, the missionary candidate's life at Gateway is enriched cross-culturally as they learn and interact with fellow missionary candidates from various cultural backgrounds. They not only share the classroom but together with the teachers and staff, eat, work, minister, worship and live together. Our purpose is to equip missionary candidates to GET THERE! STAY THERE! and BE EFFECTIVE!
