| Descripción | The Intercultural Track of the Master of Divinity program, given in conjunction with the Cross-Training Certificate in Mission, is designed to prepare students for professional missional ministry in Canada or internationally. The curriculum prepares leaders by developing their leadership skills and spiritual gifts to evangelize, instruct, and serve those outside and inside the Church, regardless of their context. Specific Goals of the Program: • Individuals use the biblical languages responsibly in the process of interpreting and communicating the Bible. • Individuals have a “Great Commission??? mindset and possess a competent understanding of the work of ministry in multicultural and intercultural settings, recognizing the opportunities and challenges of ministry, and linking theories, principles, and concepts to the practice of ministry. • Individuals engage in and maintain ministry relationships with individuals from other cultures: assessing needs, being actively involved in the work of evangelism and discipleship, and demonstrating skill in administration, leadership, and communication. |
