| Descripción | A SEAN foundation course for discipleship and pastoral/leadership training Practical and up to date This series of three self-instructional books, each with their Group Leader's manual, covers Paul's Missionary journeys and shows how the life of Paul and the legacy of his letters can give powerful direction to the students own life and ministry. Simple to do Step by step learning methods make sure each point is grasped before moving on to the next. Most students will do the same! Easy to lead The Group Leader's manual ensures that anyone with normal ability can lead a group most successfully. Contents BOOK 1 is based on Paul's birth and early life in Tarsus and Antioch, and the events of his first missionary journey. The aim is to know and understand the principle doctrines used by Paul, and to study in depth the letter to the Galatians. This prepares the student for ministering to pastoral needs. BOOK 2 looks at the people, places and events connected with Paul's second missionary journey. The objective is to study the teaching in his letter to the church in Thessalonica, and learn from his methods of training others for ministry. BOOK 3 focuses on Paul's third journey, his imprisonment and his martyrdom. The aim is to learn about the ministries for Christ of those Paul wrote to, isolate the facts and spiritual truths relevant to our lives, and discover what Paul's journey tells us about his walk with the Lord. (Each book contains abundant illustrations, maps, supplements, charts and analyses to amplify the text.)
