A searchable multi-lingual database of evangelical Bible colleges - and pastoral, theological and missionary training programmes, courses and resources world-wide - to help you find the training you need to serve the Lord.

How to Use this Site

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14)

This searchable Internet database seeks to list evangelical pastoral, theological and missionary training courses in all countries. It aims to be accessible in all major languages so that Christians everywhere can find the training they need to better serve our Lord Jesus Christ.

The project is officially endorsed by the WEA (World Evangelical Alliance – www.worldevangelicals.org) and run by the Missionary Training Service, based in the United Kingdom, member of the EA (Evangelical Alliance - www.eauk.org) and GC (Global Connections – the UK Evangelical Missionary Alliance – www.globalconnections.co.uk). It is an associate member of ICETE (International Council for Evangelical Theological Education – www.icete-edu.org).

"We certainly want to find ways to seamlessly integrate this into our new WEA web presence" - Dr. Geoff Tunnicliffe, the leader of the WEA (World Evangelical Alliance – www.worldevangelical.org).

We pray that this Evangelical Training Directory will be a blessing to all who use it. May God bless and help you in your service of Christ.

Searching

You can search by Keyword, Area of Ministry and Focus, Country and Region, Academic Level, Evangelical Association, Language of instruction, Cost, and by Full-time / Part-time.

To search by Area of Ministry and Focus, just click on the words "any area of service" and choose the one you want. You can further refine your search by clicking on the box where different focuses are listed.

You can also choose the Country - and next to that, the Region of the Country. If you want to see what courses are available world-wide by correspondence or internet, click on "International" under "Country and Region".

The fewer selections you make, the more results you will obtain. For example, searching for Post-Doctoral level courses in French in Afghanistan may not produce many results.

Registering and Posting Data

In order to post data, you need to register - click on “Register Your Organisation” in the left hand menu. In this Evangelical Training Directory we accept only organizations that are members of national or international evangelical associations. Please read the Terms and Conditions section.

Once you have registered, you will be taken to the part of the site where you can enter details of your training programmes.

Your details will go live on the directory when they have been checked by a validator. This should take a maximum of three days.

You must have Security enabled to Medium (or lower) – to enable some cookies to function. The ones from the site are harmless to your computer.

To see your training, please click on the menu item “My Programs”. Please review each of your training programs - especially the field “Area of Ministry and Focus” which has been changed to help us focus on areas of ministry rather than purely academic research.

Your College Profile

You now also have a micro college profile where you can display a logo, a few photographs and videos - which should help potential students obtain a better understanding of your organization and the training you offer. It also shows the location of your college on a map.

To update your details click “My Details” and change your information, especially the field “Description and Purpose” which forms an important part of the new micro college profile pages.

Click on the menu item “My Media Uploads”. Under “Small Images” you can add a small logo and caption text which will appear at the top of your micro site. You can also add pictures (under “Large images”) or videos with captions (under “Videos”). It is important to add a caption to each picture to identify it. Click on “Update” to save these changes.

On “My Pages” you now specify where your uploaded photos and videos appear by putting your captions in Position 1 (top left), 2 (top right), 3 (bottom left) and 4 (bottom right).

When you have finished, click on “Update” at the bottom of the page.

To view how your profile appears, go to “View Site”.

Here are examples of micro-sites from two colleges:

      1. All Nations
      2. Redcliffe

By updating your information here, you are updating it too for other sites that are part of the World Evangelical Alliance and national Evangelical Alliance movement, as they use the same database.

We pray that this service will be a blessing to you and those looking for training.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
